Unfortunately, there isn't a dedicated cleanup crew, but a lot of people that visit the lake act like there is. [frown] There is usually a lot of trash littering the beaches, some new and some old. It really is 
. There are a few community organizations that will do clean-ups and the park service organizes a few per year, but they are all on a volunteer basis.
The park service does empty the trash cans, but it is up to visitors to pack out what they bring in. I was taught as a kid to do an area sweep before leaving and pick up all of the trash including what had been left by others. [
