They're Off & Running on Lake Lowell
#11
Just a fun fact, my son, Jason, fished the Lucas Oil Open Team event at Lake Pleasant in AZ this weekend. They had 30 MPH winds, rain and hail on and off during the day. First day they were in 3rd, a pound and a quarter out of first mostly using a chatterbait. They weighed in 13.75 lbs.

Yesterday they had calm weather with some wind on and off. Chatterbait wasn't working so they started drop-shotting bed fish with a white tube. Finally got their limit and was able to cull a 13" er. They weighed in 10.25 lbs with a two day total of 24 lbs. They were in 1st with only a few boats left to weigh. The first day leader with 15 lbs from the first day came in and weighed in 13 lbs for a total of 28 lbs. That was enough to win the Ranger bass boat. Jason and his partner won $4100 for 2nd place and a beautiful Lucas Oil trophy. Not a bad payday for having fun.
