Lake Lowell opened to boating today, which also coincides with the first bass tournament. The weather is nice, but 41 degrees out. It's always interesting to hear the blast off for this tournament while eating breakfast. The roar of racing engines started at 6:55 and lasted for 15 minutes. It is now 7:40 and dead silent. The lake is quite a bit lower than average for this date, but there is plenty of brush in the water.
I think I'll wait until evening to launch my first LL excursion, or let it go until tomorrow.
