I usually bowfish on AF reservoir. It varies year to year, but a good rule of thumb is when we get a consistent week of 70 degree weather, they will be shallow. I generally head out to Sportsmans Park at Aberdeen and wade the shallow bays, many times you can catch them right up under the brush with their backs out of the water. You have to be very stealthy because they spook easily. Good luck.
