Undur,
Well my only web access has been off a old Iphone so sorry I could not complete the report but wanted to get the dope on the street so others may get out to try their luck. So started the day with conditions looking like this
[inline IMG_2049.JPG]
Well Whizzle was right those fish that were jumping were brownish not at all silver stripped gorillas of the deep but they were making such a ruckus I figured the monsters could not be too far behind so I metered around with my very old cold war era sounder
[inline IMG_2048.JPG]
Threw every thing I had at the targets with no luck so I switched up to being a hunter of fish and got out the secret weapon and ended up with this guy
[inline IMG_2046.JPG]
Ended up with two for the day both were measured around 18 inches but were really fun on the fly rod. I was on the water from 11 till about 1300 and I called it a good day. To me they did not really look all plump I would have expected the shad explosion to have put some more meat on these guys. Maybe our SB will become like the bruisers in Powell or Mohave. Here is my number two guest.
