I would love to see more officers watching out for our resources. I always try to obey all the laws and am pretty much a C&R person out of convenience because I hate dealing with dead fish. That means I don't even worry about slot stuff. But on those same lines I have called in reports a number of times and nothing seems to happen. Yet I was myself cited for tresspassing once when I was on land that was competely un posted within a mile in either direction of where I parked and fished and it had a huge pull off I had fished at all my life. I was more than set up in my opinion and felt very violated and treated like a criminal when I do everything possible to obey the laws. A week later had a friend who kept a fish on a blue ribbon stream that was illegal and all he got was a warning. I really like seeing them check people but some are a little ticket happy on the wrong offenses and let people walk with a slap on the wrist when they should be nailed.
