Yeah, I used to fish that stream more than any other in the area. I'm glad you're keeping an eye on it for me [
] Luckily for me, the only scary wildlife I ever ran into up there in the early spring was a skunk. It's too bad all those big browns are gone, but hopefully some of the cutts will grow large and take their place. I remember a lot of stonflies, drakes and caddis there, they should have enough food to get big.
I just started really exploring this creek up here in Cache that I think may be a worthy replacement. I saw a lot of cutts and browns in the 14-16" range with some up to 18". Sadly I was having one of those days where I wasn't doing a good job of hooking them, so I lost a lot of nice fish right after the hookset. I guess I'll have to get back there for a rematch soon.
