Hey all,
New to the forum. Thought I'd drop a line and say hey. Been tubing for almost 2 years now. It's always a blast. Can't believe I waited so long to get one.
I started out with a Classic Accessories Bighorn. Fished it in the fall of 2010 and all of 2011. Decided this winter I wanted something a little different. I just received my Cumberland tube from C.A. and boy is it a big difference. Riding higher with an actual seat as opposed to a sling. I think I'm going to have a fun summer.
I have one main lake I fish in around here in Illinois. I'm mainly a Largemouth fisher. But any bycatch is ok with me.
I'm planning on making a rod rack and possibly a floating livewell. PVC seems to be the name of the game for that. Won't be using premade racks. Going for an angled mount for the rods. Any tips or tricks you guys can recommend?
Taking my maiden voyage tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some pictures to share.
