I have a couple shim's that I have used for over 20 years, I have the quick fire modles with rear drag.
if the one you are looking for is any thing like mine it will bring you many years of good service.
be sure to match the reel size for the size fish you plan to target. small reels will not hold up well to large cats, carp or salmon.
