Steelhead fishing etiquette question.

All the times I've been steelheading up past shoup I've never had combat fishing. Every one I've ever felt with was real nice. The last time I went it was getting dark at the end of the day and I was fishing next to an older gentleman and I casted way up stream and when my line got half way back ]down I felt a nice tug little did I realize I had caught about a 140lber retiree [blush] we had a good laugh about it though. Made for a good couple hour B.S with an older wiser fisherman. Which is always nice sharing stories with some one who has been fishing that stretch for as long as you are old. Back on point though. Never even scene arguments break out. Guess I'm just there at the right time or maybe its the wrong time. [laugh]
