After reading all your posts i appreciate the views. i am surprised at the differing of opinion. we had shared the hole with lots of groups of people and it worked great. they didn't have to ask permission to fish and alll were polite about it. what upset me was how the whole thing went down. maybe i was in the wrong. thanks for the info and thoughts.
