Would create trucking jobs at the cost of destroying shipping jobs. Robbing peter to pay Paul so to speak. I'm realistic about Tue fact that we won't get things to the way they were......impossible to do. Dams have a large effect for the greater good than a negative impact.......that's arguable by some but until we develop a power source that is more efficient and a better base load supply than hydro they are here to stay, not to mention how they make better use for agriculture in some areas.

We should be trying to make them as low impact on the fisheries as possible though.
