You are right on how important the salmon/steelhead are to idaho. They bring in money to our state. When I go out steelhead fishing I don't k ow if any of you have noticed I'm sure you have but there are usually people from all over the country fishing our rivers during the main runs. Last time I went up to ebinezer on the salmon we had a large group from Tennessee that set up camp next to us. They said that our runs are well known over there. So our native fish are important to keep yes. As they help boost our local economy which is much needed. Steelhead and salmon runs are like our lion hunts people come from all over to get in on some quality goods and pay good money to do it.
