[size 3]I have never been in a situation where my use of two poles has been interferring with another fisherman. Heck, most the time I could use 10 and not interfer. However, my ability to react to that many lines from the shore would be extremely stretched. With two I keep them with a step or two proximity. On the ice, where the line is straight down, five is possible. I set mine in a semi-circle so I can seel all four at once, and don't have to kill myself to get to a rod getting a strike. [/size]
