Hi all,
I'm looking for someone who lives in or around Ketchikan or Juneau and does a little moonlighting guiding on rivers near those two cities. I'm not interested in a guide connected to a lodge--unless he is willing to do it on his own time. And I'm not interest in flying into a fishery from Ketchican or Juneau but would be willing to get there by 4-wheeler or SUV.
I'm interested in small river fishing for salmon and big rainbows. I want to walk the river (no boat) and need someone who can show me the ropes.
Timeframe would be August 2012.
Does anyone know such a species of guide?
