Its funny really, because having had one of these exact rigs in the past, I never considered it loud...in fact it was much quieter than my current boat and kicker setup...I too fish alot w friends and such use the boat every time...but when I go alone I still burn the same amount of fuel...and setting my speeds and dropping down dr's without spinning the boat can be tough at times...but if I am going alone anyway...I would rather take the ski and save on frustrations and fuel and such. In this case I am looking at a pair on a double trailer so that way if my gf or a friend want to go too they can...sure would be faster and less trouble all the way around IMO...
