What kind of fish can I fish for in the winter?
#2
Not sure on your location. But im in Louisiana, and a few months ago i went fishing on the mississippi river. Id say it was around 32-35degree's F. and we 5 decent cats within a few night period, not too mention small-unmentioned fish. The speckled trout start getting good here too during winter. White perch, and i havnt noticed a extreme drop in perch/brim feeding, just on extremly cold days. I hear super cold weather drives fish too the bottom, then if a few good warm days come about they feed.

But In louisiana, about the only time of the year you dont wanna fish is during a hurricane,oil-spill, or lightning storm =).
