Hi Ms. Sawyer. Welcome to BFT. Being an engineer I was faced with a very unusual task of trying to scale down fishing gear that would fit in your pocket. After a lot of time, trial & error I ended up creating the world's smallest fishing rods & reels that finally fit in your pocket. They are called Pen Fishing Rods. What is a Pen Fishing Rod you ask? It's a cleverly fabricated miniature fishing rod disguised as a Pen. It's only 7¾" fully closed or 4' 9" which is 57" in length when fully opened & we also have a larger version that opens up to 63" or 5' 3" which also comes with your choice of 7 different reels ranging from the world's smallest fly fishing reel to an equally fabulously designed variety of spinning reels both front & rear drag.
