Wow I actually enjoyed reading that reply it made sense , you are exactly right about goose hunting, it is mostly about the location. Gaining access is usually the hardest part where I hunt. However even if you are in the honey hole, you won't get a bird unless you have a great place to hide, a realistic spread with good quality decoys, being set up accordingly with the wind and motion in your spread, a good goose call, and your a good shot. 15 years ago you just had to be in the right spot but with there being 10 times the amount of pressure on the birds, you have to do everything right to kill a few.
LMAO! I kill geese over 20 yr old shells thrown out on the ice. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to kill geese. I haven't even brought them out the last few years so I actually don't know if the geese have gotten so smart they won't come into them? Guess will have to see this Saturday.
Glad you did your foot work and have all the money needed to by those realistic decoys your talking about.
Glad you liked the read and I'm sure you are a great goose hunter. Seems you got it down bud.
good hunting and call them in close. SKYBUSTERS SUCKS!!![laugh]
