Fishing license receipt
#21
Thanks Dubob - I KNEW I'd get it right - if I kept guessing randomly enough! Just knew my 60 horse took me over the top. I know my insurance wanted to know how many motors, what age, what power. Don't recall the registration folks were that particular, but it's gotta all be on the paperwork I guess.

So FG - wouldn't your basic liability coverage protect the other driver if your trailer made a 'run for the border'?
And if the Mercedes was driven by a maggot from Capital hill - would we even care (kidding!!!!)

I was just leaning towards exactly what Dubob pointed us to - the 'requirements'. I always worry about towing anything. Double check the safety chains, lights, etc. Had a pickup-trail once pop off the ball, and if it weren't for the chains - it coulda been ugly! Good thing I noticed the extra "schwing" when I came to a stop.

Of note - having a good spare and the means to change a trailer tire could be essential in saving your boat if you had a tire or axle issue on a roadway.
