Has anyone heard of Redmond Reservoir
#13
lol i have been fishing redmonds from the early 80's. a great lake for nice pike in them days... not so much now days.. but i think they must have dreged the north east side or my fish finder is not right.. last year i walked out to a guy that had tip ups set up and was ice fishing the north east side (ice was 5 inchs).. he was fishing in 16 feet of water with one tip up and 18 feet with the other.. and the last 3 years i have seen guys fishing that end through the ice.. most years there is not safe ice there tho.. and as you said the fishing is better infrount of the springs.. i get the 10 lbs cable and make my own leaders that work so much better then store brands that are to big.. 10 lbs mono will not work for bait fishing tho you know that too.. running a lure yeah not running a bait minnow. the pike take it too deep and the teeth will cut 10 lbs right now no problem[crazy]. lol.. the pike in redmond are not line shy tho.. and as far as that go's nether are the bass or catfish in there, i have cought meny bass and cat fishing for pike with cable leaders on and did not seem to bother them one bit..
