Has anyone heard of Redmond Reservoir
#7
It is only 6 feet deep if all the boards are in the overflow. I would say 41/2 feet deep this time of year. They are not ice fishing it. It is open water. It is fed by a warm spring. That is the key. Fish by the warm springs. They are easy to find, they are at the North-center side of the lake. You will see a well beaten path down to the waters edge. Just fish half an anchovie 31/2 feet under a bobber. You can use steel liter or 40-50 pound mono. This time of year is the best time to catch them. Average size is 20-24 inches. Make sure you take your needle nose pliers. Let me know if you have any more questions. Just a little FYI the state record was held out of there which was 19 pounds. Back in the 70's.
