So I was at that little fishing shop over by the Payson walmart (awesome store...the fishing shop that is...quite a few unique items, and the pricing is better than the big hitters if you ask me. Anyways the guy has a 29 lb. brown mounted on his wall that he claims came out of DC. He told me that big browns aren't uncommon in DC. Is this true? I've heard stories of big fish breaking lines out there including a possible lake trout or splake (can't remember which) that were planted in there in the 70's, as rumor has it. The shop owner said the DWR shocked the water to make the fish float and said there weren't a ton, but a fair amount of extra large trout in there, again, this is what the guy was telling me. Can anybody confirm or refute the claims? Pictures welcomed[
