Police officers shot in Ogden
#9
I think the news said he was in the army a long gime ago. I understand ptsd, was briefed thouroughly while active duty myself on what to watch for. I disagree that this is a ptsd issue. He is a tird who was growing dope in his house and shot up a bunch of cops. If I could volunteer and be on the firing squad to eliminate him I would bring my own ammo. TV didn't do any favora to Veterans by making them look unstable and in some instances homicidal. I watched an episode on Vietnam Vets, they interviewed a guy from the VA. He had statistical data that showed Vietnam Vets had very little issues unlike what the TV makes out. Suicide rate was lower than the rest of the civilian population. To say a non combat Veteran is suffering from PTSD and it somehow caused him to shoot up police officers is about as disrespectful to our Vets who actually may suffer from ptsd. None of which I would dare say think it would be a great idea to start growing pot in their house and would never ever ambush cops. In every instance they would be out there trying to help the wounded officers.
