Labeling reels?

I know this is an older post...buuuttt I use the little round stickers that you can get for yard sales and put them on the end of the butt of the rod and write on them with a sharpie like was previously mentioned...I have also heard of people place different colored rubber bands around certain rods that correlate to the line size.
