Gas auger vs Cordless drill comparison

Here are the pictures of the adaptor. The long bars attached to the nut in the middle separated by 2 washers is to keep the auger from going down in the drill comes detached for some reason. I made it so that it spins freely, so it doesn't get hung up in my clothes. Previously is was solid at I had to be really careful to keep it from tearing up my clothes.
