es. I've caught alot of them in there but none that big. My bro lost one at the hole a couple of winters ago that I'm not sure would have fit through our 8 inch hole. I caught one last winter that had an 8 inch chub hanging out of its mouth and it still managed to wolf down my 3 inch tube jig and sucker meat. Awesome. Guess I'll have to get up there and do some jigging.
