Talked with a officer of water-craft today 12-14-2011 and he said if you only have one air flotation chamber you do not have to register it. Now if you also have a inflatable back-rest or seat. that could be deemed other air floation chambers. If you put a motor on it ,it needs to be registered. One more thing he said that if it had a hull number on it, it is a boat and needs to be registered. The reason for all this run around he said was because of all the tubers that get truck tubes and float down the rivers,and they are looking to try to control that. So with all that being said I have talked with three different officers and they said about the same thing. and they all said that it could all change,because they are looking at the ruling.
