There are 5 or 6 improved parking lots along the middle provo for fishermen access. They're all basically dirt parking lots with log fencing and a bathroom.
At that intersection you're talking about, if you go northeast (towards Kamas) and then take your first left on the road that goes down to the bottom of Jordanelle dam, there are 2 of these access points on that road. Ones at the end of the road below the dam and the other is about halfway there on your left. There are some rock columns that mark the turnoff to the parking lot.
If you turn southwest from the intersection (towards Midway) there's a dirt road on your right that takes you back to another parking area. There's a small brown fishing sign on the road with an arrow marking the turnoff. A little further down the road there's another parking lot on your left that you can see from the road. Both of these are within about 1/4 mile from the highway. I personally like these spots better than the 2 that are on the other side of the highway.
There are also a couple more further downstream. One in Midway and one near the inlet to Deer Creek.
