Ice fishing must haves
#16
I had no idea that there were so many liberal fisherman on this site. Just open your mind a little if it is t your style hey good for you. I liken this liberalism to a fly fisherman and a spin caster. Both having fun one just doesn't see what the fun is in the other. If you are talking skill and it's all a out the take I hope your fly box is stacked with dry flies cause that's the real take. Not lures and under water takes.
Hope everyone has fun with what ever method you chose to fish. You can bet if I see you on the water I'll just say hi how's the fishing here is what works for me. Tight lines and hard hook sets
HEY! I resemble that remark[laugh] And actually OLD English fished wet flies and nymphs, dry flies came later and could have been an American thing, not sure...sorry I had to disagree with something![Wink]

I can see this gizmo having benifits. I read all the time where some fishers like to cast out, put the rod in a holder and visit...I never saw anything wrong with that.
Plus, have multi rods, this could come in handy. If you are out for the sport and C&R this might not make sense, but if you are trying to se how many you can catch or feed a family then it is a winner. Just my take.
