Southern California Saltwater Report 9/25-10/1
#2

Southern California Saltwater

Report for September 26, 2003 (Friday)

Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Chris's had a 30+ ablies for 14 anglers count

Up North- Channel Islands
A few yellowtail and a lot of rockfish for all three landings

LA Area- Catalina Island
The truth is it hasn't changed conditions or overall fish counts for a number of days on the sporties. Check the landing counts. 2 yellows here 3 here Shehhhhhhhh!

Further South- San Clemente
A few fish being caught but nothing causing the sportie to burn the gas to get there

San Diego- Local and Offshore
Less than five fish per angler on the local boats. Offshore fishing better with the multi-day trips.

LA Local
When you check the number of boats to the angler and fish caught the average looks .......... Ex: 19 anglers on 3 boats catching a total of 43 fish! haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
