What you see in the upper area of the 1st pic, appears to be just some ripple on the lake from the wind. These pics must have been taken in the early morning. There will be a slight breeze from time to time and it generally come in from a one of the small canyons that are part of some of the tributaries. I didn't take any of the photos myself.
