Trolling Motors for NFO Rampage
#29
Thanks,I believe you,its that I had noticed my trucks batt was getting weak ,but autoparts refused to refund me until the batt was weaker, they did say the amperage was getting low? I didn't want to wait so I bought a new one for my truck and I plan to continue to drain the used one with my trolling motor.I didn't want to wait for the battery to leave me stranded one day.I still have a year until the waranty expires. Its not the most honest thing I've done, but the battery is about to die,I would of got a new batt eventually,I just didn't want to be stranded somewere in my truckwhen the time came, but I can't wait till it dies completely so I can return it for a new batt for my boat. P.S,I have two 2 deep cycle batteries,I sometimes alternate them, and its good incase one goes bad,you can still go fishing, its good back up.Paulpro likes to have two of everything. In all my years I think only one of these wallmart batt have last past their warranty, remember to check the water level in the batt every now and then.Sometimes I row to a spot, then use the car batt to fish,or take one deep cycle and one car batt. I can trailor my boat with a small batt inside, just saying, its nice to go light every now and then.Remember as a kid how regular bateries were always stronger than the rechargeable ones,"like in remote control cars"....same thing goes for the car battery, great power but for a shorter time.Ever have a bad reaction to battery acid,I have,it made me hard headed [laugh]
