Last Weekend to fish?

Thanks for the reply! We made a big loop starting with the Little pond in Horseshoe bend to try out a new top water frog, but nothing hit it, but I did get a decent Largemouth on a rattletrap. Then made our way up to Stanley, fishing a few spots on the river with no luck, but stopped again at Martin Lake and got a few Trout. Fished a few more lakes and streams in and around Stanley and crashed at a hotel that night. The next day we fished the Salmon and got into a bunch of Rainbow Whitefish and a Bull Trout. Headed to a few more lakes to check 'em out but made our way to Penny Lake in Ketchum(cause it's stocked) and hooked into a bunch of trout and then headed home with a quick stop at Magic, cause I've never seen it, but It was super muddy and low. The whole trip overall was windy and somewhat cold and unpreductive, but fun and a pretty drive with the colors changing. Also, the town was pretty absent from tourists and vacationers, so we pretty much had all the lakes and creeks to ourselves.

We wanted to fish the Big Wood, but the weather was changing for the worse last night and we were getting a little burnt out with the dogs chewing stuff in the truck and dreading the drive home. Also, I'm new to fly fishing and need to hone my skills a bit better to be able to cast without getting in the water if i've got trees behind me.
