I ordered the 9' Renegade. Just couldn't afford the Renegade and the trolling motor/battery. I'm planning to upgrade the oars and order the raised swivel seat. I kinda like Dave's idea of placing the battery in the cooler. Looks like the battery box wouldn't be necessary - but then my pooch wouldn't fit anywhere . . .
Are the upgrade oars by NFO what's recommended?? I don't like the oars on my son's CA Colorado XT; I would expect that the Scadden stock oars are several grades better, but still the word is that they aren't very well liked.
Gotta get up and watch Oklahoma finish whoopin' up on Ball State . . . Thanks again.
