Yes, I did notice the lower pontoons immediately. I liked that myself. It made the shorter oars "fit" better, and all the over-the-side fishing easier. I like the shorter distance between the seat and top of the pontoons. It gives me more elbow room than I had in the Renegade. I like the lower profile.
