Also, make sure you're not leaving your tippet in the sun!
When you wrap your fly around a branch and pop it off, it can leave little abrasions on your line.
There are a number of things that can be happening. When you are at home in front of the tv, grab your vest, slap it on, and work on your knots with the leaders and tippets you have. If you take the advice and just switch out the tapered leaders, save the ones you swapped out and use them to practice your blood knots on, connecting new tippet! Martha Stewart would be proud.....
