Anyone fish Lowell lately?

I fished the south side from my tube Wed. and Thurs. Fish are still there, but it has slowed quite a bit. Found them at the edge of what is left of the weeds. Water was only about 3 feet deep and were mostly found at the places where the weeds came to a point. Still had some nice fish, one was 18 inches and a few 16's mixed in. Just watch out for those thunder storms, one caught me about 200 yards from the put in and I was kicking as fast as I could in the pouring rain. My mistake i guess, but when the fish are biting you just don't want to leave.
