Your good at not getting drawn into that level I guess with age comes patients and wisdom. In the hunters safety class they used to teach about stages we all go through from limiting to trophy to just enjoying the sport guess I'm getting into the latter stages I still like to smoke a few fish every once in awhile and love to catch a big one but it really isn't that important to me anymore I mostly just like to be out and feel that strike and fight and I like to see the spot stay good for the next trip so that makes me a lot more willing to let most of them go. I grew up on Cutler and have always returned most everything I caught hoping they would grow up and I'd catch a trophy someday then it got popular and now it's a lot harder to catch anything like we used to catch. Too bad that some believe they can take and take until the fishery gets poor then they move to the next best spot until they wear it out. But I hope in time they will realize the balance and that goes both ways if we don't cull a few we get the over populations and stunted growth. It just seems like some limits are overly high and just because the limit says six doesn't mean you need to keep six. At least I don't think many of us are fishing to feed our families. If so we need to check the economics of that arrangement. Sorry about the length of this post got carried away. Later J
