WOW! This is the first I've heard of this (working out of town). Sadly, I'm not surprised. I've seen swimmers at several lakes this year in the early morning out in open water. I don't know the specifics on this case but I hit a tree (yes, a tree. Only a small stick was poking out of the water) at roughly 55 mph and had no chance to react...lost a ducer [unimpressed]. So I can see how easily it could happen but I also know how it could be avoided. I'll leave my opinions to myself...so
