I say the same as a few others, if they are worth fixing, by all means fix. Cheap and easy enough to do.
I don't personally feel we will have an issue with felt for a few more years. Even Simms has brought back their felt line.
If you do need new ones, check out Orvis site, they have some killer sales on quality gear. Or I was at Cabela's a couple of weeks ago, and they had some Simms for a little over $100.
Also, IF you need to replace boots, maybe think about the Vibram soles. I have been using Aquastealth soles for over 10 years. If I need more traction, I use stainless sheet metal screws. Only need maybe four in the toe section, and two in the heal.
Plus nice thing, you can remove them if you want to use a drift boat.
