dose your state hold a world record for a fish species?
#4

Hi there davetclown,

I heard of sturgeon in the Snake river also over a thousand pounds being caught in the 1880's. The hassle with the world record business is whether the record is based on rod and reel catch, All-tackle record, or world record for a certian line test rating, conventional or fly tackle and lastly a record for everyone, women or kids!!!! Arrrrrh!!!

I'm not a member of the IGFA anymore so I don't have a recent publication of world records. They don't offer a complete list on their site unless you're a member.
