my wife landed her first fish on a fly rod!

Nice! I haven't been able to get my wife to even try fishing for years now. She did manage a five inch bluegill on a fly rod once, but all of her trout have been on spinning gear. One of her big hang ups is that she feels bad for the fish, not because of getting hooked, but because they're excited to get this meal, and then the get caught instead [laugh]
