I hit that same area this morning and just like everyone else said very little action... 2 small browns in almost 3 hours it was really frustrating. one on a caddis and one on a Scud. I kind of expected it, but like you I was really just checking out the work they did. Ill most likely be avoiding that area for a while. Fishing has never been great for me down low.
