Chub in Vivian Park?
#3
[cool][#0000ff]There have been chubs in the entire Provo River system forever...since Lake Bonneville. The predators mostly cleaned them out of Utah Lake and Deer Creek but there are still tons of them in Jordanelle. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Wherever two adult chubs can get together and some of their spawn survives then you can have a chub explosion. As long as the chubs spawn faster than the predators eat them they are good to go. Since chubs are not a protected species I guess that they are legal to remove from that pond...and DWR would probably prefer that you do so. Check to see if it is legal to use a minnow trap and harvest a bunch for bait.[/#0000ff]
