another poll--what do you think scares fish the most

They may become curious, but I assume they are very alert. Little fish will swim near bigger fish that they know can eat them, they are just prepared to dart away if the big fish tries anything. So with divers are they curious but more likely avoid eating anything for a while after.

Next time, have a couple of worms that you can drop and see if the fish dart in and grab them.
