Fishing Project

Hi. I'm working on a community service project to help scouts learn how to fish. We've blazed a trail and will be putting up outdoor locker sheds filled with fishing gear. This will enable the scout reservation to offer a den leader a key and send the group to a station that has everything they need to teach scouts the sport of fishing and have fun. We are in the process of creating large educational signs at every station that have information on the types of fish in the lake, requirements for belt loops, merit badges, and fishing knots. We hope to get this completed by the end of July. We are a little short on fishing gear so I’m inquiring to see if anyone might have old fishing gear at home that they would be willing to donate. Also suggestions on where I could purchase items at wholesale would be greatly apprecaited! We are in need of fishing reel/rod combos, tackle boxes, buckets, nets, spools of line, hooks, etc. THANK YOU!
