Mr. Tubedude, I don't know what walleye snobs you are referring to! I'm assuming they are from Utah but all of Utah guys that come to our tournament here, are Fantastic people. In fact, we wouldn't have much of a tournament if it wasn't for them. I have never really known any to be snobs, quite the contrary actually. Apparently we know different people.
In regards to what you said, "[#0000ff]Over the years I have just about had it with individuals and groups that adopt a water or a species as their own and want to shut out everybody else. Never mind that everybody kicks into the state funds to stock and maintain the fisheries and are equally entitled to catch and keep as many fish as they want...within the limits.[/#0000ff]
I'm sure Ron can and maybe would even agree to my following statement:
"If it wasn't for some of those individuals and groups, that you are speaking of, you may not have fish or the kinds of fish that you want to fish for, in your home waters.
If you were part of a small organization that has put hours and hours and thousands of their own dollars into a fishery, you would play a different tune. I here what you are saying and have known those type of people as well. But, I can assure you, our lake would not be anything close to what it is, if it wasn't for a handful of guys!!!!!! It would be another one of thousands, of Idaho's trout fisheries. I have absolutely no problems with people taking Walleye out of our reservoir to eat!"
