Suckers - Kill or Throw Back

I will kill them and then release them. I hate the dead ones people leave on the bank, but I have no problem leaving them in the river for food for other critters and some added nutrients. They are great bait for browns as the second largest brown I have ever caught was on sucker meat. Chubs are also great bait for browns.
If every fisherman killed every sucker they caught, we would still not put a dent in their population. They are right up there with carp and chubs. I would rate them number 4 on the kill list.
