Well I did find a study from Canada on Walleye. This one doesn't look good either. One of the things that was a killer was anglers killing the walleyes at the release site. This is an interesting read. Is there a list of rules for the tournament that a guy could read. It sounds like the shallower the fish is when caught the better.amount of time in the live well is also an issue. Does the tournament address this? Also how many tournaments are held there every year.
I have never thought about the affects of tournament fishing at SFCR but it sounds like the loss could be significant. here is the alberta study. Ron
